The apparatus receives a first code associated with a first high rate packet data (HRPD) operator and a first HRPD subnet, distinguishes the first code from a second code associated with a second HRPD operator sharing a long term evolution (LTE) network with the first HRPD operator, and determines whether to perform a session transfer operation to the first HRPD subnet based on the distinguished first code.

    A land leveler leveling control system comprises a datum plane generation device (101), a sensor, a controller (102), and a target instruction input device (103). The sensor comprises an altitude sensor (104). The controller (102) is provided with reference points (a) arranged at intervals with shovel blades in a land leveler. A detection signal comprises an altitude signal indicating a distance from the reference point (a) to an intersection between the altitude sensor (104) and a datum plane (b). The controller (102) comprises a signal calculation unit (1021) used for calculating a location of the reference point (a) relative to the datum plane (b) according to the input detection signal, calculating a target location of the shovel blade relative to the reference point (a) according to the location of the reference point (a) and an input target location signal, performing conversion according to the calculated target location of the shovel blade to obtain a motion quantity of a drive mechanism in the land leveler, and outputting a control signal to the drive mechanism in the land leveler.

  • The role of stem cells and progenitors in the genesis of medulloblastoma

    Cancer results from dysregulation of growth and survival pathways in normal stem cells and progenitors. Identifying the cells from which a tumor arises can facilitate the development of animal models and point to novel targets for therapy. Medulloblastoma is an aggressive tumor of the cerebellum that occurs predominantly in children. Recent genomic studies suggest that medulloblastoma consists of 4 major subgroups, each with distinct mutations and signaling pathway deregulations, and each potentially arising from distinct populations of stem cells and progenitors. Here we review the major types of progenitor cells in the cerebellum and discuss their role in the genesis of medulloblastoma. (C) 2012 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.

    A method and system to determine biomarkers related to abnormal condition in a subject are provided, comprising: sequencing nucleic acid samples from a first and a second subject in order to obtain multiple sequences respectively consisting of the first and the second sequencing results, wherein the first subject is in the abnormal condition; and the second subject is not in the abnormal condition; and the nucleic acid samples from the first and the second subject are both isolated from the samples of the same type; and the first and the second subject belong to the same species; and determining the biomarkers related to the abnormal condition in the subject based on the difference between the first and the second sequencing results.

  • EMERGENCY DATA TRANSMISSION OVER UNLICENSED RADIO FREQUENCY SPECTRUM BAND

    Techniques are described for wireless communication. A first method includes determining that a first node associated with a first operator in a deployment of operators has emergency data to transmit over an unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band and transmitting, by the first node, a signal over the unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band. The signal may indicate that the first node has emergency data to transmit. A second method includes receiving, at a first base station associated with a first operator in a deployment of operators, an uplink transmission from a user equipment (UE) indicating that the UE has emergency uplink data to transmit over an unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band and transmitting, by the first base station, an indication to a second base station that the UE has emergency uplink data to transmit over the unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band.

The source node(216) of the diode-connected MOSFET is connected to the gate (206) of the power MOSFET. The power MOSFET and the diode-connected MOSFET are integrated into the substrate of the semiconductor device so that the diode- connected MOSFET source and drain nodes (216, 214) are electrically isolated from the power MOSFET source node (218) through a pn junction.

  • A METHOD OF ENHANCING USER EXPERIENCE BY USING SYSTEM INFORMATION IN LTE EMBMS

    A method, an apparatus (UE, user equipment), and a computer program product for wireless communication are provided. The apparatus receives a request to receive a Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service (MBMS) service associated with a service area identity (SAI) and a second frequency. The apparatus performs inter-frequency cell reselection from a first cell transmitting at a first frequency to a second cell transmitting at the second frequency, the second cell being an inter-frequency neighbor cell to the first cell. The apparatus receives system information from the second cell. The apparatus determines that the second cell transmitting at the second frequency is unassociated with the SAI based on the received system information. The apparatus blacklists the SAI on the second frequency in a blacklist for at least a period of time upon determining that the second cell is unassociated with the SAI. In the UE, the service layer determines based on the information received from modem layer because the modem layer did not receive a TMGI / USD corresponding to the SAI and the related frequency of SIB 15.

    The invention relates to a method of performing channel quality feedback and prediction for ABS mechanism in a serving eNB of a heterogeneous wireless communication network, the heterogeneous wireless communication network includes the serving eNB, a user equipment and at least two macro eNBs, the method comprises: the serving eNB sending a first instruction to the user equipment to indicate the user equipment to perform restricted channel state information measurement for two subframe subsets; the serving eNB receiving the result of the restricted channel state information measurement of a first subframe subset from the user equipment and predicting the channel quality of each subframe based on the result of the restricted measurement, so as to perform link adaptation, channel-awared scheduling and data packet transmission and receiving HARQ feedback; and the serving eNB determining whether it is necessary to perform the restricted channel state information measurement of the second subframe subset based on the HARQ feedback. The method according to the present invention can realize the channel quality feedback for ABS mechanism and achieve a more accurate channel quality prediction, and thus improve the performance of the whole wireless communication system.
