  • METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING ELECTRODE FOR LITHIUM SECONDARY BATTERY

The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing an electrode for a lithium secondary battery, the method comprising the steps of: (S1) dry-mixing a conductive material and an electrode active material; (S2) dry-mixing the resulting mixture from step (S1) and a binder to prepare an electrode mix powder; and (S3) applying the electrode mix power to at least one surface of an current collector. According to an aspect of the present invention, an electrode is manufactured by coating a current collector with an electrode mix powder prepared without a solvent, resulting in no need for a separate drying process. Therefore, no surface migration phenomenon occurs in a binder and a conductive material applied on the electrode active material, so that the adhesive strength of the electrode does not deteriorate, with the consequent prevention of performance degradation in the lithium secondary battery.

  • POSITIONING PIN

Disclosed is a positioning pin. The positioning pin according to the present invention is positioned facing a groove formed in an object to be fitted into the groove, thereby positioning the object. To achieve this objective, the positioning pin includes: a contact bearing member fitted into the groove of an object while reducing contact resistance; a shaft member for supporting the contact bearing member which is provided at a front end by extending in the axial direction; a first plate spring member having an end fixed to a base and the other end coupled with the shaft member vertically with respect to the axial direction so as to absorb the resistance generated in the process in which the contact bearing member is fitted into the groove, wherein according to an embodiment a second plate spring member is included so as to stably and effectively absorb repulsive force resulting from the contact.

  • Allergy to Miscellaneous Household Arthropods

    Kim, Cheol-Woo   Hong, Chein-Soo

Of the various arthropods, humans have the greatest contact with mites and cockroaches, and as a result, allergies to these two groups have been the most frequently reported. Changes in lifestyle and living environment have encouraged the growth of arthropods other than mites and cockroaches, and consequently, human exposure to antigens derived from the new arthropods has increased. Although systematic approaches to and immunobiochemical studies of these arthropods are relatively sparse compared with those of mites and cockroaches, recent reports have shown that many species of household arthropods can elicit IgE-mediated reactions via inhalation, biting, or stinging. In this chapter, we review the other arthropods that can induce allergic reaction to human beings. Where the information exists, the frequency of sensitivity and clinical manifestation, and the characterization of the allergens are also reviewed. Virtually all species of arthropods may be sources of allergens that can sensitize and induce IgE-mediated allergic reactions in humans.

  • PID CONTROLLER FOR CONTROLLING THE MOTION OF A MOTOR AND A CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

The present invention discloses a proportional integral derivate (PID) controller for controlling the motion of a motor and a control method thereof. The PID controller of the present invention varies a control bandwidth of the PID control by changing a proportional gain and a derivative gain used in the PID control based on a control result, thereby improving the tracking performance and reducing hunting in regulation mode. Here, the present invention adopts a 'root mean square (RMS) based gain scheduling algorithm' to calculate from the control result an RMS that well represents perturbation or disturbance of a system, and then obtains a proportional gain and a derivative gain from the calculated RMS.
