  • THIN-FILM TRANSISTOR, ARRAY SUBSTRATE AND DISPLAY DEVICE

    A thin-film transistor, an array substrate and a display device. The thin-film transistor comprises a gate electrode (01), an active layer (02), a source electrode (03) and a drain electrode (04) which are located on an underlayment substrate, wherein the source electrode (03) and the drain electrode (04) are oppositely arranged and are respectively electrically connected to the active layer (02), and the orthographic projection of an active layer region (a) corresponding to a gap between the source electrode (03) and the drain electrode (04) on the underlayment substrate is in a bent shape. The thin-film transistor can increase the length of the active layer region corresponding to the gap between the source electrode and the drain electrode without increasing the area occupied by the thin-film transistor, thereby solving the problem of the sharp increase of OFF-state currents.

  • Development of an indirect competitive immunoassay for walnut protein component in food

    Among food allergens, walnut is a frequent cause of adverse food reactions in allergic patients. In this study, the walnut allergen protein 2S albumin precursor (Jug r 1) cDNA was synthesised and cloned into the pGEX-6P-1 expression vector. The recombinant plasmids were transformed into Escherichia coli (E. coli) BL21(DE3) pLys for expression of protein Jug r 1. Polyclonal antibodies were prepared against the expressed purified Jug r 1 protein. An indirect competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for the detection and quantification of walnut soluble proteins in processed foods was developed using the prepared polyclonal antibodies. The developed ELISA had a high specificity, walnut protein standard solution at 2.2 ng/mL [inhibition concentration (IC80) of the competitive test] was clearly identified by the ELISA. The mean recoveries ranged from 86% to 112%. The coefficient of variation (CV) for the 4 model foods was 6.4-8.7%. (C) 2013 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

    A multi-functional fresh-keeping device and a control method therefor and a refrigeration device. The multi-functional fresh-keeping device comprises an ionizer (110), a fresh-keeping mode circuit, a disinfecting mode circuit and a control system. The control system is connected to the ionizer (110) by means of the fresh-keeping mode circuit and the disinfecting mode circuit respectively. The multi-functional fresh-keeping device further comprises a filtering module (120) and an air supply mechanism (130) that are connected to the control system. The filtering module (120) is used for purifying air, and the air supply mechanism (130) is used for accelerating gas circulation. When the control system controls the ionizer (110) to work by means of the fresh-keeping mode circuit, the control system controls the air supply mechanism (130) to work at the same time; when the control system controls the ionizer (110) to work by means of the disinfecting mode circuit, the control system controls the air supply mechanism (130) to shut down at the same time. The multi-functional fresh-keeping device has the advantages that the selection is flexible, the all-round fresh-keeping, disinfecting and purifying effects on food can be achieved, and food storage quality is greatly improved.

  • PLATEMAKING METHOD AND DEVICE OF STORING AND OUTPUTTING INFORMATION BY UNIT DOT MATRIX

    A platemaking method is disclosed, which includes the following steps: screening inputted image-text information of the page to convert continuous tone image-text information to halftone image-text information; generating dot-matrix information of unit dots, which includes plurality of unit dot information consisting of the position and the size of every unit dot, wherein the position and the size of every unit dot correspond to the central position and the size of a screened dot of halftone image-text information respectively, the position of every unit dot indicates correspondingly an order position of an output dot, and the size value of each unit dot is two or more values each of which indicates correspondingly a physical dimension grade of an output dot; outputting the output dot at a corresponding actual position on a film or other printing plate according to the dot-matrix information of unit dots generated in the above step, wherein after reading the position and the size of every unit dot in the dot-matrix information of unit dots, outputting the output dot whose physical dimension corresponds to that indicated by the size of an unit dot at a corresponding order position on a film or other printing plate. The method greatly reduces the memory space required by screening and improves the output quality of platemaking. A platemaking device is also disclosed.

    With the epidemic rise of end-stage renal disease (ESRD) in many countries of the world, there is an urgent need to develop and implement strategies aiming at preventing the development and progression of chronic kidney disease (CKD), and the situation is the same in China. Glomerulonephritis is still the most common cause of ESRD in China; however, epidemiologic studies have revealed that the prevalence of diabetes and hypertension, which both are major causes of ESRD in many developed countries, are increasing dramatically. Additional studies about the prevalence of albuminuria in diabetes mellitus (DM) patients, and the prevalence of kidney lesion in certain high-risk population (e. g., hypertension and atherosclerosis) are undergoing. According to a questionnaire survey and some reports, education program for Chinese nephrologists and practitioners should to be strengthened.

  • Photoluminescence and I–V characteristics of the carbonized silicon nanoporous pillar array

    A layer of nanocrystalline 3C-SiC film was synthesized on silicon nanoporous pillar array (Si-NPA) by thermally carbonizing the surface of Si-NPA in a graphite crucible and a 3C-SiC/Si nanoheterojunction (named SiC/Si-NPA) was fabricated. Room-temperature photoluminescence of SiC/Si-NPA was studied and strong light emissions peaked at 383, 402 and 420 nm were observed from SiC/Si-NPA when it was excited by 300 nm fluorescent light. The I- V characteristics of SiC/Si-NPA were measured. Obvious rectification behavior and low leakage current were found in the prepared SiC/Si-NPA diodes. Based on the I- V measurements the conduction mechanism in SiC/Si-NPA under positive applied voltage was explained. Our results indicate that SiC/Si-NPA might be a valuable heterostructure nanosystem to be further probed for achieving enhanced optical and electrical properties. [All rights reserved Elsevier].
