    The present invention provides a handover threshold processing method, apparatus, base station, radio network controller (RNC), and base station controller (BSC). The method comprises: a second network element receiving first handover threshold information sent by a first network element, the first handover threshold information comprising a first handover threshold for handover from a first cell of the first network element to a second cell of a second network element and/or a first threshold protection range of the first handover threshold; and the second network element determining second handover threshold information according to the first handover threshold information, the second handover threshold information comprising a second handover threshold for handover from the second cell to the first cell and/or a second threshold protection range of the second handover threshold. The present invention solves problems of resource waste and a decline in service quality and user experience that are caused by frequent handover failures during UE handover in the prior art, thereby achieving effects of reducing unnecessary handover, saving resources, and improving service quality of the UE.

In the present application, by allocating different transmission resources to uplink data in logical channels (LCHs) on different transmission levels, different demands for different uplink data can be satisfied.

  • METHOD FOR DETERMINING REASON FOR TOO LATE HANDOVER TO HOME BASE STATION

    Provided is a method for determining the reason for too late handover to a home base station, the method including: after completing the re-establishment of Radio Resource Control (RRC) connection with a user terminal, a home base station confirms that a Radio Link Failure (RLF) event occurs when the user terminal establishes a connection with a cell of another base station; the home base station generates a RLF indication message and transmits it to said another base station; wherein, the RLF indication message includes the information of a Closed Subscriber Group (CSG) cell which the user terminal currently accesses; said another base station determines, according to the RLF indication message, the reason for too late handover from the user terminal to the home base station. The present invention also provides a system for determining the reason for too late handover to a home base station. With the present invention, the specific reason for the RLF can be determined, which thereby is more useful for perfecting the configuration of related parameters at the network side.

In the present invention, a source base station sends an energy saving control request to a target home base station, the energy saving control request including information of the target base station, information of the source base station, and the type of the energy saving control request. After receiving the energy saving control request, the target home base station performs an energy saving control processing operation, and sends a result of the energy saving control processing to the source base station through an energy saving control response. If the energy saving control processing fails, the energy saving control response further includes a reason for the failure and/or a waiting time. In the present invention, by exchanging energy saving control related messages between the source base station and the target home base station, energy saving control can be implemented on a home base station in time, and the home base station can sleep or wake up, thereby achieving effective energy saving of a network in the home base station environment.

The invention allows UEs conducting drive tests to continue normal service operations unaffected by the ongoing tests, thus avoiding frequent reporting to the base station of changes in UE capacity and reducing air-interface signaling interaction.

  • MOBILITY MANAGEMENT METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR TERMINAL IN WIRELESS RELAY SYSTEM

    A mobility management method and system for user terminals (UE) in a wireless relay system is used for resolving the technical problem of making handovers for UE between different relay stations belonging to a same donor eNode B(DeNB). The method includes that: an X2 interface link is established between the relay stations belonging to the same DeNB; a source relay station transmits a handover request to a target relay station, and the target relay station performs permission of access control; if the target relay station permits the UE to access, the source relay station performs retransmission of user context and cached data; after the UE successfully accesses the target relay station, the target relay station notifies the DeNB that the link has changed, and the DeNB performs the link switching. In the handover flow of the invention, only some control for retransmitting data is needed between the source relay station and the target relay station, the retransmission through the DeNB and the process with a mobility management unit(MME) or serving gateway(GW) are not needed, the handover flow is simplified, and handover delay is decreased by a certain degree.

    Disclosed are a method and a system for transmitting automatic neighbor relation (ANR) information, and a radio network controller. The method comprises: a user equipment performing measurement through ANR measurement configuration information delivered by a first radio network controller, acquiring ANR information, and reselecting a cell controlled by a second radio network controller, reporting the ANR information to the second radio network controller, and reporting routing information of the first radio network controller; and the second radio network controller, according to the routing information of the first radio network controller, forwarding the ANR information to the first radio network controller. In the present invention, when the UE moves to another RNC, a source RNC can also obtain the ANR information, thereby optimizing the neighbor relations and enhancing the network quality.
