Abstract(summary):

There gets a new method to improve the comprehensive mechanical properties of TiCN-based cermerts by controlling the morphology of (W,Mo,Ti)3 + x(Co,Ni)3-xC(0 < x ≤ 1) phase. The multi-core structure cermets were obtained by replacing TiCN powder partly with (Ti,20W,15Ta)(C0.7,N0.3) solid-solution powder in raw materials. The influence of (W,Mo,Ti)3 + x(Co,Ni)3-xC(0 < x ≤ 1) phase on mechanical property of TiCN-based cermets was discussed. The influence of different metal binder on the generation of (W,Mo,Ti)3 + x(Co,Ni)3-xC(0 < x ≤ 1) phase was disccused.
