  • SYNCHRONIZATION SIGNAL MONITORING METHOD AND DEVICE

    A synchronization signal monitoring method and device for resolving the problem of low monitoring efficiency when monitoring a synchronization signal by a terminal device in an LAA-NR system. The method comprises: upon detecting that a channel on an unlicensed carrier used by a unlicensed cell is idle, a base station occupying the channel to send a synchronization signal, and sending the channel detection result to a controller; after receiving the channel detection result, the controller carrying an identifier of the unlicensed carrier used by the unlicensed cell and synchronization signal configuration information in monitoring instruction information and sending the monitoring instruction information to a terminal device; after receiving the monitoring instruction information, the terminal device can monitor the synchronization signal over the channel on the unlicensed carrier according to the synchronization signal configuration information. In this way, the controller can notify the terminal device of when and how to monitor the synchronization signal by sending the monitoring instruction information to the terminal device, so that the monitoring efficiency of the terminal device in monitoring the synchronization signal can be improved, and the access performance and service performance of the terminal device can be further improved.

  • INITIAL ACCESS METHOD AND APPARATUS

    Provided are an initial access method and apparatus. The method comprises: an access network device using at least two downlink wave beams to send a synchronization signal to a user equipment, wherein the synchronization signal comprises downlink wave beam indexes of the at least two downlink wave beams; the access network device receiving a random access preamble sequence sent by the user equipment; and the access network device using the at least two downlink wave beams to send a random access response (RAR) message to the user equipment, so as to finish the initial access of the user equipment. By using an initial access method provided by the embodiments of the present invention, the disadvantage that a channel is not stable in a high frequency transmission environment in a new wireless system can be overcome, so as to improve the initial access performance of an NR system and further to improve the user experience of the system.

The method comprises: a first device sending a spectrum usage message to a licensed-assisted access (LAA) control entity, the spectrum usage message comprising the usage condition of an unlicensed spectrum in an area where the first device is located; the first device receiving a first notification message sent by the licensed-assisted access (LAA) control entity, the first notification message at least comprising an unlicensed spectrum and a contention parameter for contending for the unlicensed spectrum, wherein the contention parameter is obtained by means of an analysis of the LAA control entity according to the spectrum usage message; and the first device contending for the usage of the unlicensed spectrum according to the first notification message. Accordingly, by means of matching a contention parameter with the number of devices contending for an unlicensed spectrum, the utilization rate of the unlicensed spectrum is improved.
