We have investigated a charmed system of DNN (composed of two nucleons and a D meson) by a complementary study with a variational calculation and a Faddeev calculation with fixed-center approximation (Faddeev-FCA). In the present study, we employ a DN potential based on a vector-meson exchange picture in which a resonant A(c)(2595) is dynamically generated as a DN quasi-bound state, similarly to the A(1405) as a (K) over barN one in the strange sector. As a result of the study of variational calculation with an effective DN potential and three kinds of NN potentials, the DNN(J(pi) =0(-), I = 1/2) is found to be a narrow quasi-bound state below A(c)(2595)N threshold: total binding energy similar to 225 MeV and mesonic decay width similar to 25 MeV. On the other hand, the J(pi) =1(-) state is considered to be a scattering state of A(c)(2595) and a nucleon. These results are essentially supported by the Faddeev-FCA calculation. By the analysis of the variational wave function, we have found a unique structure in the DNN(J(pi) = 0, I = 1/2) such that the D meson stays around the center of the total system due to the heaviness of the D meson. We study the central part of the Lambda N potential by considering the correlated and uncorrelated two-meson exchange besides the omega exchange contribution. The correlated two-meson is evaluated in a chiral unitary approach. We find that a short-range repulsion is generated by the correlated two-meson potential which also produces an attraction in the intermediate distance region. The uncorrelated two-meson exchange produces a sizeable attraction in all cases which is counterbalanced by omega exchange contribution.

In this talk I summarize recent findings made on the description of axial vector mesons as dynamically generated states from the interaction of pseudoscalar mesons and vector mesons, dedicating some attention to the two K(1) (1270) states. Then I review the generation of open and hidden charm scalar and axial states. Finally, I present recent results showing that the low lying 1/2(+) baryon resonances for S = -1 can be obtained as bound states or resonances of two mesons and one baryon in coupled channels dynamics.

We study the reactions J/psi -> (Lambda) over barK(-)p and J/psi -> (Lambda) over bar pi(+)pi(-)Lambda with a unitary chiral approach. We predict the ratio of the invariant-mass distributions of these two reactions at the Lambda(1520) peak position, which is free of the unknown production mechanism and reflects only the properties of the Lambda(1520). An experimental measurement of this ratio will provide the couplings of the Lambda(1520) to its decay channels, allowing to test the predictions of the chiral unitary approach on this resonance, which appears as dynamically generated in that approach.

The authors study the reaction Sigma-+ Ararr Lambda+( Api -) with the pi - bound in the nucleus, as a means of producing deeply bound pionic states in nuclei, so far unobserved. The reaction is similar to the ( n, rho) reaction but, because of the Sigma -, Lambda mass difference, it allows the reaction to occur with smaller momentum transfer, thus increasing the transition probability and reducing the effects of distortion. The ratios of signal to background are one to two orders of magnitude better than in the ( n,rho) reaction

We provide a series of arguments which support the idea that the peak seen in the gamma p -> K(+) Lambda reaction around 1920 MeV should correspond to the recently predicted state of J(P) = 1/2(+) as a bound state of K(K) over bar N with a mixture of alpha(0)(980)N and f(0)(980)N components. At the same time we propose polarization experiments in that reaction as a further test of the prediction, as well as a study of the total cross-section for gamma p -> K(+)K(-)p at energies close to threshold and of d sigma/dM(inv) for invariant masses close to the two-kaon threshold.

Starting from a recent model of the eta'N interaction, we evaluate the eta'-nucleus optical potential, including the contribution of lowest order in density, t rho/2m(eta'), together with the second-order terms accounting for eta' absorption by two nucleons. We also calculate the formation cross section of the eta' bound states from (pi(+), p) reactions on nuclei. The eta'-nucleus potential suffers from uncertainties tied to the poorly known eta'N interaction, which can be partially constrained by the experimental modulus of the eta'N scattering length and/or the recently measured transparency ratios in eta' nuclear photoproduction. Assuming an attractive interaction and taking the claimed experimental value vertical bar a(eta'N)vertical bar = 0.1 fm, we obtain an eta' optical potential in nuclear matter at saturation density of V eta' = -(8.7 + 1.8i) MeV, not attractive enough to produce eta' bound states in light nuclei. Larger values of the scattering length give rise to deeper optical potentials, with moderate enough imaginary parts. For a value vertical bar a(eta'N)vertical bar = 0.3 fm, which can still be considered to lie within the uncertainties of the experimental constraints, the spectra of light and medium nuclei show clear structures associated to eta'-nuclear bound states and to threshold enhancements in the unbound region. We report upon 11 composite meson states, dynamically generated from the vector meson-vector meson interaction using the local hidden gauge formalism within a unitary approach. Six of these states are associated to the f(0)(1370), f(0)(1710), f(2)(1270), f(2)'(1525), a(2)(1320) and K-2*(1430) resonances. At the same time we predict five other states with the quantum numbers of h(1), a(0), b(1), K-0*, and K-1 which could be tested by future experiments.
