  • SUPERPOSED OPERATION CIRCUIT AND FLOATING-VOLTAGE DIGITAL-TO-ANALOG CONVERSION CIRCUIT

Provided are a superposed operation circuit and a floating-voltage digital-to-analog conversion circuit, so as to implement superposition of analog quantities by using a principle of superposition of indirect currents. A voltage follower is implemented by using a first operational amplifier, so that an output end of the voltage follower is clamped to a voltage inputted by a positive-phase input end, that are, analog quantities to be superposed. Then, a current generation circuit converts a voltage signal into a current signal, the current signal generates a voltage drop on a first resistor connected to an output end of the first operational amplifier, and the voltage drop is superposed with a voltage signal outputted by the first operational amplifier. An output working point of the first operational amplifier in the superposed operation circuit is always fixed to the analog quantities to be superposed, thereby ensuring the output precision of the operational amplifier. In addition, a high-precision current superposed quantity is obtained by converting a low-absolute-precision voltage signal, instead of being directly generated by a digital-to-analog conversion circuit, thereby reducing the requirements on the input precision of the current generation circuit and further reducing the requirements of the current generation circuit on power consumption and an area.

  • Two quantum oscillators coupled with a planar radio frequency ion trap

    Chen, Liang   Gao, Ke-Lin

In this scheme, two quantum oscillators in a planar radio frequency ion trap are coupled by the trap electrodes. The ions motional states encode the quantum bits (qubits), and a swap gate could be achieved. Under different conditions of the experiments, the intensity of the coupling between'two quantum oscillators and the dissipation of the system are calculated. We compute fidelities for a quantum swap gate and discuss experimental issues

  • RESISTOR-CAPACITOR REINFORCEMENT-BASED MEMORY CELL OF STATIC RANDOM ACCESS MEMORY

Proposed is a resistor-capacitor reinforcement-based memory cell of a static random access memory, comprising a latch circuit and a bit selection circuit. The latch circuit is composed of two PMOS transistors P1 and P2, two NMOS transistors N1 and N2, a first resistor-capacitor network and a second resistor-capacitor network. The bit selection circuit is composed of NMOS transistors N5 and N6. The latch circuit forms four storage points X1, X1B, X2 and X2B, and a coupling capacitor C is disposed between one complementary pair of data storage points. Compared with a traditional 6T structure memory cell, the memory cell is additionally provided with resistor-capacitor networks and a coupling capacitor. The memory cell is prevented from single event upsets at the cost of a little increment in area while not changing an original read operation path or obviously increasing the complexity, thereby ensuring the correctness of data.
