METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PARSING INTERROGATIVE SENTENCE IN KNOWLEDGE BASE

Abstract(summary):

A method for parsing an interrogative sentence in a knowledge base, comprising: receiving an interrogative sentence input by a user (101); performing phrase detection on the interrogative sentence to determine a candidate phrase (102); mapping the candidate phrase to a resource item in the knowledge base (103); further determining a value of an observation predicate and a possible interrogative sentence analysis space (104); performing uncertainty reasoning on each proposition set in the possible interrogative sentence analysis space according to the value of the observation predicate and a value of an implicit predicate to calculate a confidence (105); acquiring a combination of true propositions, of which the confidence meets pre-set conditions, in the proposition set (106); and generating a formalized query sentence according to the combination of true propositions (107). By means of an observation predicate and an implicit predicate, uncertainty reasoning is performed in the method, so that a natural language interrogative sentence can be transformed into a formalized query sentence. An uncertainty reasoning method can be applied to knowledge bases in any fields, and has field expandability, so that it is unnecessary to manually configure a transformational rule for the knowledge bases.
