Provided is a polymer which can be formed into a cured article having excellent adhesion strength. A polymer which contains a structural unit having a dihydrobenzoxazine ring represented by general formula (1), said polymer being characterized in that the content ratio of the structural unit having a dihydrobenzoxazine ring is 80 mol% or more relative to the total amount of all of structural units in the polymer. (In general formula (1), R1 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms; Ar1 represents a group having an aromatic ring; R2 represents an alkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, an aryl group having 6 to 20 carbon atoms, or a monovalent group represented by the formula -R3-R4; R3 represents an alkanediyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms; and R4 represents an aryl group having 6 to 20 carbon atoms.)
