INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE CONTROL DEVICE

Abstract(summary):

This control device is applied to a 3-cylinder internal combustion engine (11) mounted in a vehicle (1) and connected such that a first motor-generator (12) can transmit power to a crankshaft (40). When stopping the internal combustion engine (11), a vehicle control device (30) controls output torque of the first motor-generator (12) such that the internal combustion engine (11) stops in the state with a preset specific cylinder in the compression stroke. The specific cylinder is such that a relation is brought about of mutual weakening between the vibration component that occurs due to precession in the internal combustion engine (11) when the internal combustion engine (11) has been started from the state with said specific cylinder in the compression stroke, and the vibration component predicted to occur in the vehicle (1) if the torque applied to crankshaft (40) during starting of the internal combustion engine (11) were assumed to be imparted to the crankshaft (40) in a state in which the piston (41) and the connecting rod (42) of the cylinders (11a) were detached.
