The Strong Decay Mode\(J/\psi \)for the Pentaquark States\(P_c^+(4380)\)and\(P_c^+(4450)\)in a\(\varSigma _c\bar{D}^*\)Molecular Scenario

Abstract(summary):

The strong decays of P-c(+)(4380) -> J/psi p and P-c(+)(4450) -> J/psi p are studied based on a Sigma(c)(D) over bar* molecule scenario. Different assignments for the spin-parity of the two Pc states are considered. Our results exclude all the P- wave Sigma(c)(D) over bar* assignments, while the estimated widths of the S wave are both allowed by the present experimental data of the two P-c states. Moreover, we discuss the other two scenarios of Sigma(c)*(D) over bar and Sigma(c)*(D) over bar* in heavy quark limit with J(P) =3D 3/2(-), and find the Sigma(c)*(D) over bar system for P-c(4380) might be possible.
