Abstract(summary):

In this paper, we analyze LEED and Green Standard, from macroscopic to microscopic views. We reveal the major way to promote green building construction, green building theory and the practice of exploration and innovation. Weight factor between LEED and Green Standard bears different roles and the roadmap of green building is illustrated. The conceptions for building energy consumption have broad and narrow senses. Building energy consumption in the broad sense refers to the generalized conception of energy consumption in the whole process of building including building materials manufacturing, building construction and the working of the building. Building energy consumption in the narrow sense, or building using energy consumption, refers to the energy dissipations used in maintaining the functioning of the building, including lighting, heating, air conditioning, elevators, hot water supplication, cooking, household appliances and office equipments energy consumption. The usually called building energy consumption is this building using energy consumption. Building energy consumption is a significant problem but not the sole one. How to shape the roadmap of green building? Many related systems are used around the world.
